Rebel With The Blue ViolinGet ready for a thrilling ride through iconic rock anthems, delivered with electrifying energy that will lift you from your seat! Experience the powerful fusion of classical and rock music in the hands of the incomparable Pavel Šporcl and his band — a musical event you won’t want to miss!
Šporcl, award-winning violinist and the most viral Czech classical artist, in this brand-new project honored with a Gold Record (Universal Music), takes the stage for the first time as a rock violinist.
The Czech leading classical violin star teams up with a newly formed band (Hammond organ, guitar, bass guitar, drums) to bring a fresh perspective to legendary rock hits such as “Kashmir” and “Stairway to Heaven” by Led Zeppelin, “Smoke on the Water” by Deep Purple, “Another Brick in the Wall” by Pink Floyd, and the timeless “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” by the Rolling Stones.
Ballad lovers will be moved by a powerful rendition of “What Was I Made For?” — the Oscar-winning hit by Billie Eilish — reimagined in a stunning arrangement by Šporcl that will touch the hearts of fans across all genres.
Other highlights include unforgettable classics like “Let it Be” by The Beatles and “The Sound of Silence” by Simon & Garfunkel. The program also celebrates Czech gems — the emotional Voda, čo ma drží nad vodou by Vašo Patejdl and a heartfelt tribute to Karel Gott with Když jsem já byl tenkrát kluk (When I Was a Young Boy) as well as Nějak se vytrácíš má lásko (You’re fading away, my love) by the legendary Czech band Olympic.
Šporcl also presents his own original hits, Boundless and Surprise, completing a one-of-a-kind repertoire.
