ABOUT CECILIA:
Cecilia González is an exceptional dancer who, since 1995, has worked with the most renown Argentinean dancers of her generation, Osvaldo Zotto, Fabián Salas and Mariano “ Chicho” Frúmboli among others. Her dancing is characterized by her technical precision, the fluidity and elegance of her movements and a remarkable capacity to improvise.
Cecilia explores the bio-dynamics and connective aspects of tango, she can dance both roles, this gives her the ability to convey in depth information to her students. She has a clear methodological approach to teaching which was developed by her own.
Cecilia entered centre stage of the Tango scene as the New Generation of Tango dancers – extraordinary as a performer, in her dance ability, her fluidity and her ability to explain her movement. This was unheard of prior to the mid 1990s.
She is so highly respected that she can be innovative in her approach to the events that she is an integral part of in Brazil (Musicality workshops with Blas Rivera and the Cello Encounter with Sir David Chew), the Patagonia and Mendoza Tango Retreats, USA, Australia, NZ and other locations for many Festivals and workshops.
Her knowledge and many years of teaching around the world contribute immeasurably towards developing and continuing robust and dynamic Tango communities around the world.
