We will hold a vigil for all who are suffering in Palestine and Israel and deliver a letter to the Congressman asking him to work to stop the violence. The death toll continues to rise and we see the human rights, health, and environmental devastation this violence supported by the U.S. is causing. We implore Congressman Pappas to join the call for a permanent ceasefire, an end to the Israeli bombardment and blockade of Gaza, and an end to unconditional US military aid to Israel.
This event is not a rally. It is a solemn vigil and an expression of our steadfast commitment to human rights and peace for all people and the planet.
This vigil is hosted by The NH Coalition for a Just Peace in the Middle East which brings together: NH Peace Action, AFSC-NH, the Community Church of Durham, Palestine Education Network, Veterans for Peace-NH, 350NH, Peace with Justice Advocates NHCUCC and others.
All are welcome. This is an outdoor event. Please dress for the weather.
