This course is designed to equip realtors with essential knowledge about home inspections, ensuring they can effectively guide their clients through the process. It provides an overview of the systems and components that must be inspected under the State of Connecticut Standards of Practice for Home Inspectors, as well as the limitations of a home inspection—what inspectors are not required to assess.
By understanding these standards, realtors will be better prepared to interpret inspection reports, explain findings to their clients, and help them prioritize necessary actions based on the inspector’s recommendations. The course also covers the realtor’s role in the inspection process, ensuring they can facilitate a smooth and informed experience for homebuyers and sellers.
