1. Obtain Commercial Learners Permit
To obtain your license the FIRST step is to get a permit.
This is a requirement not an option, you cannot move forward without it.
A study guide will be provided during class.
Study guide will include questions and answers to all 3 required tests (general knowledge, airbrakes, and combination).
You will be able to discuss any job required endorsements (hazmat, school bus, passenger, etc.)
2. Register For School
During the permit workshop, your instructor will register you for school or walk you through the registration process. Most schools start new classes every Monday. Classes are 3-4 weeks
3. GET TO WORK!
Company recruiters will be on site while you’re completing your behind the wheel training. Before starting class, you will have already been offered a pre hire. All pre-hires are contingent upon you completing your behind the wheel training and passing a background and drug screen.
