CCWA Creek Cleanup Event!
The CCWA's first Conodoguinet Creek cleanup of 2024 will be held on Saturday, July 27th.
Meet no later than 8:30AM at the Conodoguinet Youth Park, 515 Orrs Bridge Road, Mechanicsburg.
We'll keep our vehicles in the lot at the park. We’ll work upstream to near Sears Run (about one creek mile), float the trash back downstream to the park, and take out and stack the trash there at the Conodoguinet Youth Park. Our aim is to be done by noon.
Hampden Township will come and pick up the trash at the park on the following Monday.
We'll send more details to our volunteer registrants a few days prior to our event.
Many thanks go to Hampden Township for their cooperation, and especially for their willingness to pick up the trash we remove from the creek!
