This is a SEPARATE Men's and Women's Solo Blind Draw tournament. You will sign up as an individual randomly placed on a team of 6 men or 6 women. There will be one net for women and one for men. PLEASE NOTE: THE ONE EXCEPTION FOR WOMEN'S TEAMS IS THAT THE CCVCC WILL BE PLAYING TOGETHER TO PRACTICE FOR NATIONALS.
The tournament will be held at JCC at the PHED Complex at 290 Curtis St., Jamestown, NY 14701. Format will be timed games of 12 minutes. All teams will make playoffs and single/double elimination will be determined day depending on the number of teams and what time pool play is finished.
Check in is at 9:30 AM with play to begin by 10:00 AM. Pizza is included and will be provided between noon and 1. We expect to conclude play between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
Absolutely NO alcohol, nicotine products, marijuana products or illegal substances are not acceptable at this location! Additional legal ramifications may occur as this is a school property. Anyone breaking this rule will be asked to leave immediately with no refund. No exceptions!
Kindly, no beginners, for safety purposes. Level of play expected is HIGH-REC and above! Winners will receive their money back and a prize!
The cost is $25 per player. Please TEXT OR MESSAGE Jenny or Kelsey to sign up. PLEASE NOTE, you are not signed up if you click ‘going’ or ‘interested’. All participants will receive a pre-tournament text the week of the tournament. If you DO NOT receive this, you are NOT signed up.
If at all possible to pay cash for this tournament, we would greatly appreciate it. Otherwise, when signing up, please ask if you would like to pay using a different format. PLEASE DO NOT VENMO THE CCVC.
