Join us for 2 days of CCR exclusive diving! This is sure to be a community building event bringing like minded divers together for one of a kind NC diving! The event will kickoff with dinner at bamboo in swansboro NC on September 11th at 6pm so divers can get to know each other and discuss dive plans for Fridays dives (families are welcome to join)!
Divers will meet up at the dock on day one at 5:30 to load the boat and head out for a 3 tank meg ledge dive! The crew will be present to assist with gear loading and give a safety brief while making our way out of the inlet!
Dives will be conducted on the world renowned NC Meg ledge where we pull buckets of teeth up each dive. Divers are encouraged to bring a DPV for blowing sand, however, it is certainly possible to find them by hand as well. The meg ledge sits in about 90 feet of water. Plan accordingly.
Divers will meet up at 5:30 on day two to load the boat and head out for a 2 tank shark dive on the Papoose shipwreck! The Papoose sits in about 120 feet of water and almost always has plenty of sand tiger sharks. Sand bar sharks and nurse sharks, are also common visitors of the shipwreck!
The Papoose was torpedoed and sunk by German U-boat U-124 on March 18th 1942! She was headed south from Rhode Island to Corpus Christi Texas when she was struck by two torpedoes, but managed to stay afloat for a few days before sinking upside down!

Day one 3 hour Meg ledge dive is $380 and day two 2 hour offshore shark dive is $240 for a total of $620 for the 3 day event.
