CCNY Class of 2026 Picnic & Field Day

The CCNY Class of 2026 Picnic will be held at The Great Lawn in Central Park. This event will serve as an opportunity to socialize as incoming CCNY freshmen and to form new bonds with students we not be familiar with. It will be a day full of entertainment and activities. By the end of this event we hope students lose some of that anxiety they might have before starting college in the Fall. THIS IS AN EVENT EXCLUSIVE TO CCNY STUDENTS ONLY!!! WE WILL BE CHECKING TICKETS AND YOU MUST PROVIDE EVIDENCE THAT YOU ARE AN INCOMING CNNY FRESHMAN!!!

All tickets must be purchased before the day of the picnic. Tickets will be available from now up until Wednesday August 17th at 11:59pm. We picnic coordinators need a day to organize and figure out how many people we are expecting to show up the day of the picnic. WE WILL NOT BE GIVING TICKETS AT THE DOOR. NO EXCUSES!! BE MINDFUL OF THIS!!

Please make sure that you bring a blanket to sit so you don't burn yourself sitting on the hot grassy ground. Based on current weather reports we are expecting a temperature of around 85 Degrees Fahrenheit. Don't complain if your ass gets burned for not making smart decisions. With that being said we would like to ask you to contribute something to the picnic. Whether that is by bringing food, snacks, drinks, utensils, plates, games, speakers, etc.

Remember just because we have an NYC Parks Permit this doesn't mean we can act wild or misbehave in a public space. We don't want to cause any problems in Central Park that could lead to NYPD or Parks Enforcement Patrol kicking us out for breaking the rules. At the end of the picnic all attendees are responsible for picking up their own trash and personal belongings. We have to leave the area exactly how we find it.
