Get ready to roll up your sleeves and craft your own fresh salad box in this fun, hands-on class! Don't miss out on this tasty adventure – your perfect salad awaits!
Are fresh lettuces and greens getting pricey for your food budget? Grow your own! Join Carroll County Master Gardeners and build your own Salad box. Perfect for your deck or patio; a great way to grow your greens and eat healthy for less!
In this hands-on class, participants will build their own box from scratch with help from Master Gardeners and learn how to utilize this addition to their decks and patios.
Bring a notebook/pen for notetaking.
Bring work gloves if you use them (participants will be working with wood, hardware cloth, power and hand tools).
This class is not appropriate for children under 15. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Fees cover cost of supplies. Each participant will leave with a finished wooden salad box to fill and enjoy.
This class has limited tickets, register early!
