About the Event
The Conservative Commonwealth Group (CCG) and Conservative Friends of Nigeria (CFON) are delighted to invite you to a drinks reception at this year’s Conservative Party Conference.
This reception will bring together parliamentarians, councillors, party members, and friends from across the Commonwealth to discuss a central question:
“How do we engage with our Commonwealth family in the UK?”
The Commonwealth represents a vital network of shared history, values, and opportunity. With vibrant diaspora communities across the UK, the Conservative Party has an important role to play in strengthening these relationships — locally, nationally, and internationally.
Join us for an event of networking, discussion, and drinks as we explore practical ways to build stronger ties with Commonwealth communities and highlight their contribution to British society and the Conservative movement.
Why attend?
- Meet fellow councillors, parliamentarians, and activists with an interest in Commonwealth relations
- Share insights on how to deepen engagement with diaspora communities across the UK
- Strengthen your networks across CCG, CFON, and the wider Conservative Party family
