A nice relaxed paced ride around Tuggerah Lake, sometimes lapping at the shores of the lake and sometimes weaving through the suburbs. We utilise shared paths for about half the ride plus some roads/road shoulders.
Watch out for Wilfred at North Entrance in spring time - the sometimes overly friendly Magpie!
Coffee stop probably at Toukley.
Please note:
- soon after the leave Wyong station near the end of the ride we cross the bridge over Wyong Creek which has no shoulder, so take care with following / passing traffic!
- some sections of the ride noted as on shared path may be substituted by road, especially if the path has been flooded.
Ride may be cancelled at short notice due to bad weather or ride leader issues.
