Greetings,I am happy to announce that the Central Coast Biological Society will be having our Fall Meeting on Tuesday, October 28th at Humdinger Brewery (855 Capitolio Way, SLO) at 6 pm.
Our very own co-chair, Kyle Nessen, will be presenting on Monarch butterflies. The title of his talk is "Wind resilience in overwintering monarch butterflies: an empirical test of the microclimate hypothesis." Kyle will be fresh off defending his thesis at Cal Poly the week prior!
Our second speaker will be Cindy Roessler and she will be presenting on "Bumblebees of the Central Coast."
We have created a logo for CCBS and we will have stickers available for sale at the meeting. Or you can get one for free with a $10 membership!
Food and beverages will be available for sale at Humdinger Brewery. Humdinger is donating their space, so please come hungry and thirsty!
