Canton Comedy Boom Presents: Patrick Madison and John King at Patina Arts Centre on Saturday August 24 as part of their multi-state Double Chuckle Comedy Tour!Patrick Madison recently went all-in with his stand-up act and has been touring the country. John King is a Cleveland legend with decades of experience in the entertainment industry. And we are both grateful and excited to get them on stage together again!
Patrick Madison has been one of CCB’s favorite up-and-coming comics since the day we met him. Pat’s act is quirky and clever, and his delivery reveals an admirable vulnerability beneath the surface of his hilarious takes on some of life’s most embarrassing truths. His work at Funny Farm gave him the chance to be mentored by national acts like Jim Florentine and Kevin Farley. From dive bar basements where he first began working on his act in 2015, to bookings at clubs like Hilarities and Funny Stop today, Pat’s ability to keep the whole room laughing has been proven many times over.
John King is a veteran entertainer with nearly forty years of experience. John’s show is full of energy and excitement, and he usually closes with a musical act, bringing audiences down from the buzz of their laughter with the bluesy tones of his harmonica! With hundreds of radio, stage, and television performances under his belt, John can adapt to any room and we are thrilled to have him in ours.
The show will be hosted by one of CCB’s favorite home-grown comedians, Dan McGinnis!
