The CC&V Vets Business Resource Group (BRG) is a voluntary, employee-led group dedicated to bringing veterans together across our workforce and throughout our community. A few highlights of our recent efforts include organizing a red, white, and blue blast in honor of Veteran’s Day, partnering with community organizations to produce a 2024 Teller County Veterans Community Resource Guide, collecting over 225 pounds of food to donate to our local food pantry, and supporting local veteran fly fishing trips with both funding and volunteers! This golf tournament is just one more way to connect with our community and support local veteran organizations. The Teller County Veteran Assistance Fund is managed by a team of county employees and organization representatives, and the funds are used to help local veterans and their families with unanticipated emergency expenses like housing, utilities, and food.
