Setting a price for your services can be a difficult decision for many RMTs. In this presentation, learn how to take an informed approach to setting your fees so you feel confident in what you are charging. We will go over how to perform a market analysis to understand outside influences on price as well as your costs and break-even points to understand internal influences on price. We will openly discuss issues surrounding choosing a price point and other fees so that you leave feeling heard, understood, and with a confident approach to how you price your care.
About the Presenter
Emilie McKay, RMT, BHSc
Emilie’s vision is to create thriving and sustainable massage therapy practices so all RMTs can experience a life-long career. As a business and career coach at The RMTpreneur, Emilie has helped numerous RMTs, and other health care professionals, navigate the waters of business operations and career development. She works with her coachees to build practices that are driven by their values and support their work-life balance.
Additionally, Emilie is a clinic director of relax. Massage Group where she supports and mentors a team of over 30 RMTs across 7 locations. She has a Bachelor's degree in Health Science, with a concentration in leadership and business. Emilie has written for Massage Therapy Today and has a published case study in the International Journal of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Additionally, Emilie currently sits as vice president of the Perth and District Chamber of Commerce.
