who got coaxed into giving us two afternoons of workshops in a small focus group, ha! Yours truly shall assist, representing mere mortals.
We will spend Saturday and Sunday afternoon learning in a small group of balanced (lead/follow) couples, and we will have a themed party on Saturday night (separate event on page).
If you are booking as a balanced couple (Lead + Follow), you can buy your passes online, please let me know the name of your partner.
If you are booking as a single, you have to message me to balance you with a partner, there might not be many waiting for matching, better be quick!
Only full payment secures your place. You can do one or both days, choice is yours.

Workshop plan might change slightly, but is now as follows:
SATURDAY
Stretch and warm up at 11.45, workshops begin at noon.
12.00 - 12.45 Clean -up operation, awareness of common bad habits, exercises to test yourself and tidy up your basics
12.55 - 13.40 Crowd dancing - tension adjustment to protect partner, how it feels, what it does; adjusting moves to take less room (leads and follows), stand still in motion - keep dancing when there's nowhere to go, group exercises
Lunch break - bring your own snacks, hot drink facilities provided. Please bring a mug.
14.10 - 14.55 Advanced routine that will rock your socks off and fry your synapses
15.05 - 15.50 Smoothification with connection - leads on how to initiate moves smoothly, follows on how to connect and read that vibe. Based on intermediate level routine.
15.50 - 16.20 Supervised practice with personalised feedback - 3 couples dancing at a time, Nicolai observing and giving each dancer 1 thing to work on (quietly, on side, not a public announcement)
SUNDAY
Stretch and warm up at 11.45, workshops begin at noon.
12.00 - 12.45 Expressing music - simple moves, elevated by musicality
12.55 - 13.25 Multiple spins in partnerwork, preps, maintaining connection, balance, stopping safely and homework
13.25 - 13.45 Feedback on crowd dancing techniques after the social & best practice in given situation
Lunch break - bring your own snacks, hot drink facilities provided. Please bring a mug
14.15 - 14.45 Body lead - no fingers exercises, connection through frame & visual
14.55 - 15.40 Speeeeed!!! - routine with moves that work best on very fast tracks + how to pace yourself
15.50 - 16.20 Party games - cause mischief in a safe and fun way
