This month our speaker, Dr. David Martinez, DVM, will discuss “Diseases and Pests”. Graduating from the College of Veterinary Medicine of Zaragoza, Spain, in 2002, he furthered his education with a master's degree in wild animal health and an intensive internship in exotic pet, zoo, and wildlife medicine at the University of Georgia (UGA). He is also a Certified Beekeeper and provides veterinary health service to local beekeepers in Atlanta Metro and surrounding areas. Be sure to arrive early for mentoring and a deeper look into tools and tricks of seasoned beekeepers. Mentoring sessions begins at 6:30 p.m. This month our mentor will be Steve Page and he will discuss the differences between Treatment vs. Treatment Free Beekeeping.
