Caveau de la Huchette: The Jazz PartySun, Jan 25, 4:00 pm

Chuck Redd hosts as the OFAM 2026 Winter jazz team with vocalists Siri Vik and Shirley Andress offer up their usual 3 1/2 hours (with 8 mini-sets) of improv, which this winter celebrates Paris and its rich, international complex of popular music and jazz. The format for the evening will be the usual: top-ticketed cabaret seating down front of the main floor, and reserved seating up in the balcony, with a full bar in the Tykeson Lobby.
Our title this year? A shout out to the Latin Quarter jazz club Le Caveau de la Huchette (5 rue de la Huchette, 75005…just around the corner from Shakespeare and Company) which since 1946 has hosted just about everyone, including Lionel Hampton, Count Basie, Art Blakey, Sidney Bechet, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Manu Dibango, Bill Coleman, Claude Luter, and Claude Bolling.
