The inaugural Causeway Boxing Classic between Sacramento State and UC Davis will take place on Friday, November 22 at Memorial Auditorium, providing another avenue for fans to experience the long-standing rivalry between the two schools. This event is particularly notable as it marks the launch of Sac State's Combat U program, a development initiative for combat sports, announced by Sacramento State President Luke Wood and UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber in January 2024.
