About Us
True Cadence is a multi-award-winning social music enterprise based in Barking & Dagenham that serves the entire East London. We exist for one purpose: to nurture young musical talents from under-resourced communities, transforming them into ‘industry-ready’ professionals.
As a home for grassroots music business education, we work with upcoming artists and aspiring music industry professionals who wish to know how the music industry works. We provide tailored music workshops, mentorship, and a platform for these young ones to understand the business side of music while building the skills, confidence, and social network they need to access life-changing opportunities in the industry.
From promotion to distribution and everything in between, we help them learn the ropes of music management.
TC also runs other programmes, including songwriting, vocal coaching, sound recording, and music therapy, as well as mentoring young people on their personal and professional development. Our programmes are catered to children and young people between 8 and 25 years old.
