Now Listen Here Presents: Caught in a Lie - True Stories of Lying Liars!
Have you been duped by less than the truth? Did you tell a fib to save some face? Did you bring the truth to light? Join us on Friday May 3, at the Home.stead for a night of true stories of lying liars and the lies they told.
Want to tell your own true story of a lie once told? Great, just follow these simple guidelines:
- Story must be true as you experienced it.
- Your story should have a clear beginning, middle, and an end.
- Your story must be no longer than 5-6 minutes and will be told without notes.
- *Bonus - What's at stake? The best stories start with something to lose.
The first half of the night will be an open mic event with stories, open to anyone interested in signing up. The second half will feature a new twist to the Now Listen Here series. We'll have three stories and it will be your job to spot the liar!
