Bring your family, friends, and positive vibes! Enjoy an afternoon outdoors with games, music, delicious food, and great company as we gather to celebrate our diverse community.
About the Event:
The Canadian and Turkish Women’s Association of Ottawa (CATWAO) is excited to host this cultural gathering to bring together Canadian, Turkish, and other communities. It will be a joyful day of connection, culture, and cause, with part of the event proceeds going to the TEMA Foundation to support reforestation in Türkiye following recent wildfires.
✨ Highlights of the Day:
Support a Cause: A portion of proceeds will be donated to TEMA Foundation for reforestation in Türkiye.
Meet Us: Meet and mingle with CATWAO and new community members along with their families.
Potluck Style: Share your favorite homemade dish! We encourage everyone to bring something — especially Turkish dishes to introduce to our non-Turkish guests.
Food Vendors: Enjoy even more delicious food and drinks from local vendors. Note: Vendors will not accept cash.
Purchase food and drink tickets at the CATWAO desk.
Tableware Provided: We’ll supply cutlery, plates, napkins, and cups.
Drinks: Pop, lemonade, and water will be available for a small fee. Feel free to bring your reusable water bottles.
Seating: Limited seating is available — please bring a foldable chair or picnic blanket. An umbrella may be helpful in case of light rain.
Games & Activities: Outdoor games and fun for all ages! Bring a backgammon set if you’d like to join in some friendly competition.

Admission is free, but registration via Eventbrite is required to help us plan accordingly.
Register in advance to receive a free raffle ticket! (One ticket per registered guest.)
Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event.
(Note: Registered guests who do not attend will not be eligible for the raffle.)
Keep your Eventbrite ticket (digital or printed) — you'll need it to check in and claim your raffle ticket.
Optional donations can be made during registration to further support CATWAO and the TEMA contribution.
