About this Event
CatVideoFest is a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses. CatVideoFest is a joyous communal experience, only available in theaters and special venues, and raises money for cats in need through partnerships with local cat charities, animal welfare organizations, and shelters to best serve cats in the area.
We are committed to raising awareness and money for cats in need around the world. A percentage of the proceeds from each event go to local animal shelters and/or animal welfare organizations. Since 2019, over $150,000 has been raised for local shelters in addition to adoptions, fostering, volunteer sign-ups and much more at shows.
By focusing fundraising efforts on behalf of local shelters and organizations, we’re able to divert money and attention directly to the places and causes that need it most. We trust local people working on behalf of cats to know and understand the problems that need to be solved.
The 75-minute-reel of cat videos is family-friendly and can be enjoyed by anyone. 20% of ticket sales goes to Champaign County Humane Society
If you plan on attending the event and would like your cat's photo to be included in our prescreening slide show to appear on the screens, feel free to send an image to [email protected] with the subject "I Love My Cat".
We do have a bar with alcoholic Beverages (Beer, Wine, Seltzers, Canned Cocktails, Liquor) and non alcoholic (Coke products and Water) drinks for sale but do not serve food. There are some packaged snacks for purchase. No outside food or drinks are allowed in the venue. This will be enforced!
We worked out a partnership with The Chophouse Restaurant in Mahomet! For anyone that buys a ticket for one of our events, Chophouse on Main will be giving 20% off any food purchase the week leading up to the event and the week after the event! Just show them your ticket to the show on your phone!

PLEASE READ OUR CANCELLATION POLICY! NO REFUNDS OR RAINCHECKS will be given for no shows or requests made within 7 days or after the event. Event may be subject to cancellation based on the number of enrollments. To request a refund, please email us at [email protected]. Eventbrite registration fee will not be refunded.
