CATU members have voted overwhelmingly (92%) to support demonstrations this Autumn over the cost of living and housing crisis.Members from Dublin and across the island of Ireland will form a bloc at September 24th's Cost of Living Demonstration, kicking off at the Garden of Remembrance.
The cost and availability of housing are huge factors in the Cost of Living crisis - join us with your voices, your banners and your placards as we demand:
- A ban on evictions
- A cut and cap on rent prices
- A cut and cap on energy prices
- No shutoffs to gas/electricity supplies this Winter
In advance of the demo, we will be meeting for a banner making session in A4 Sounds off St. Joseph's Parade from 6-8pm on Wednesday, Sept. 21st. All welcome - bring a paintbrush!
