We are planting Cedar Trees along the banks of the Catstream to improve bank stability, enhance ecosystem health, support salmon habitat, mitigate flooding, and honour Snuneymuxw cultural heritage. Now is the time to plant while it is wet out. Where: Meet at the Catstream Bridge on the major path through the Catstream forest between 6th and 7th on Park Ave https://maps.app.goo.gl/D4zWyrrm2auGUyny6
Tools will be provided but if you have a tree planting shovel, please bring it.
Bring: Gloves (gloves will be provided)
Bring a snack and water: there is the possibility that we may have someone cook lunch for us!
