'MUSICAL SPECTACULAR 2024’‘Cats With Red Shoes Academy’ proudly present their ‘Musical Spectacular 2024’ with two shows at 1pm and 6pm of dancing and artistic, rhythmic gymnastics.
This year they are presenting a musical tribute to 4 mini-musicals namely ‘Pippi Longstocking’, ‘Bring It On The Musical’, ‘Mrs Doubtfire’ The Comedy Musical and ‘101 Dalmations The Musical’.
This highly acclaimed Academy is the home of World Champions and Medallists. The pupils have performed at many prestige UK and International venues over the years, including the Royal Albert Hall, The Lowry Theatre and Disneyland Paris. They are big favourites in their hometown of Blackpool, performing many times at The Opera House, Blackpool Tower and all major venues in the resort.
The show’s cast is made up of 170 boys and girls, with an age range of 2 to 16 and features six world championship routines, covering Ballet, Tap and Modern plus Musical Theatre, Freestyle Disco and Cheerleading.
There will be collections at the two performances, with all donations and raffle proceeds going to ‘The Brian House Children’s Hospice’.
The Academy’s motto is “Our Children know there are children less fortunate than themselves’.
