About this Event
The 2024 Writer Fellow is Catherine Prasifka, author of the acclaimed debut novel None of This is Serious (Canongate, 2022) and the forthcoming This is How You R`emember It (May 2024). Catherine - described by the Irish Times as "an astute observer of the social dynamics of her generation" - will be in conversation with novelist and critic Kevin Power.
The Writer Fellowship was inaugurated in 1986 and is co-funded by the TCD School of English and the Arts Council of Ireland. Writer Fellows teach on the M.Phil graduate courses and offer workshops to undergraduate students and to members of the public. Past Writer Fellows include Anne Enright, Eoin McNamee, John McGahern, Deirdre Madden, Marina Carr, Sebastian Barry, Caoilinn Hughes, and Hilary Fannin.
