About this Event
In this ever-changing world of farming, keeping up with changes and details of the various schemes that are available from Defra is virually impossible. Whilst we will mainly be trying to demystify the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI), we are also happy to try and answer questions about other schemes or direct you to the correct organisation. Join Catchment Sensitive Farming, Independent Agronomist Andrew Wells and Farmer John Charles Jones for a short tour of our Arable Knowledge Farm.
This a FREE event
Lunch is provided
Please let me know if you have any special dietary requirements
The event will start with a short introduction about the event and SFI the different options, agronomy, pitfalls and how to apply for Sustainable Farming Incentive 2024.
Then it is out and about to have a look at some of the various options that have been established this Autumn and hopefully when the weather allows this spring.
The farm will evolve over time, new options will be added, different applications will be trialed. Come as many times as you like. There is always something else to see. Discusions are encouraged, different opinions welcome.
