Distance: Approx 3.5 miles, loop.
Time: The hike will begin at 6:30 pm SHARP. Please arrive before 6:15.
Description: This is a beautiful hike with excellent views of the Springs from "those other red rocks" you see up above Red Rock Open Space. A few steeper sections will help warm up your legs as we make our way back to a dark recess just off the trail, home to a very intermittent waterfall. Come enjoy the wildflowers, but I suspect we'll see the 'waterfall' another day.
Directions: Exit I-25 at Cimarron St (Exit 141) and head West. Turn left on 21st and continue South 1 mile. Turn right on Lower Gold Camp Rd and follow along as it turns into Gold Camp Road. After 2 - 3 miles you will see the well marked Section16 trailhead and parking area on the right. Look for your guides towards the far end of this area.
