The National Civil Rights Museum’s first Catalyst for Change session for 2024-25, Tackling Prostate Cancer Disparities in Black Men, is a collaboration designed with Pfizer to expand awareness of prostate cancer risks, increase the number of Black men to receive baseline prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing, and identify the social determinants that can reduce the incidence of cancer among underserved racial and ethnic minority communities. This forum will bring together individuals from healthcare, academia, private/public business sectors, and the public at large to discuss approaches to tackling these inequities.
