That's right, cat lovers, we're back - it's time for Cat Video Fest 2025!After the fur-nomenal success of our last Cat Video Fest, we've got an entirely new programme of cat videos to enjoy together in our comfy cinema. @thecatvideofest
Our 2pm afternoon screening is purr-fect for all ages, but we especially encourage families to join us - we'll have our cafe open for hot and cold drinks as well as some snacks.
Assembled from an eclectic assortment of video submissions as well as classic clips, Cat Video Fest is a now-annual tradition, featuring 75 minutes of paw-some new content, including
A touching rescue story from CatManChris, one of the internet’s most beloved rescuers
A hilarious brand-new short from the iconic series Simon’s Cat
A historic gem: what many believe is the first cat video ever made — from 1887!
A fresh lineup of internet-famous catfluencers like @ringodanyan
…and loads of new kitten mischief and cat antics
Our last screening was a sell-out, and missing this would be a cat-astrophe - so get your tickets in advance!
This screening will be open seating, and doors will open at 1pm.
10% of proceeds will be donated to the Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter
