Welcome to Cat Tales - The Banned Book Edition - Purrista's Monthly Book Club. This month we are changing it up to meet and discuss in the CAFE Only.If you want to spend time in the Cat Lounge afterwards, you can pay a fee to do so.
For our next meet-up, we will lead a group discussion on "The Dream House" by Carmen Maria Machado **
This inventive memoir explores an abusive relationship which Machado lived through in Iowa City ten years ago.
(**Content Note: this month’s book contains themes of emotional and physical abuse within a relationship which may be triggering)
We will discuss this book together on the CAFE SIDE of the Cat Cafe.

Location: Purrista Cat Cafe, 30 W 8TH ST
Coffee and cat cuddles are NOT included in this month's book club meet up. However, there will be time to hang in the cat lounge after for a fee.
You must register on our website to participate. You have the option to get a copy of the book yourself -or- we can purchase for you and you can pick up at the Catfe once it's arrived.
