After a hugely successful, sold-out event in June 2022, the all-new Cat Lovers Festival is finally pouncing back to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 May, 2024.

It’s that one special weekend a year when kitty-lovers can unite to proclaim their love for these wonderful creatures and immerse themselves in all things feline.
Once you’ve got your ticket, everything to see and do at the Festival is FREE making it one of the best value days out all year!
It’s heaven for cat lovers with attractions including:
• Meet over 250 beautiful cats throughout the Festival including in the hugely popular Breed Showcase with expert breeders on-hand from ANCATS and other leading cat associations with daily talks on the Breed Info Stage;
• Australia’s biggest kitty supermarket with hundreds of exhibitors, new product launches and exclusive, Festival specials. See, compare, shop and save with all the latest & greatest products and services to spoil your puss;
• Pat-A-Cat will feature rare, pedigree and companion breeds and is the purrfect place to interact with a wide array of different cats;
• Main Stage will present educational talks from some of Australia’s most trusted animal experts including Jackson Galaxy live via satellite from Los Angeles. It will be one of the most comprehensive cat-based educational programs ever offered in Victoria. Daily talks will help to demystify these enigmatic creatures and make us better puss-parents with the full program being launched soon;
• Championship Cat Show (competition) see dozens of rare and popular breeds compete to win big cash prizes. Daily competitions presented by ANCATS and other leading cat associations;
• Adoption Zone will help raise awareness for cat rescue, promote responsible pet ownership, with dozens of shelters and adoption groups taking part offering practical advice on the joys of providing a loving home for a kitty in need;
• Meet some of the cat-stars of Instagram as they strut their stuff down the InstaKitty pink carpet;
• Kitty Face-Painting and our Neon Glitter Selfie Wall will put a smile on kids’ faces with more activities for the little ones to be announced soon;
• Kitty Cosplay Fancy Dress – wear your best cat inspired outfits to the Cat Lovers Festival and go into the draw to be named ‘Best Cat (Person)’;
