SAVE THE DATE! The Castle Hill Book Fair is back from 11–13 October at Oakhill College, Castle Hill, promising to be a paradise for book lovers.
This year, we're excited to present more books and unique finds than ever before. Mark your calendars and prepare to immerse yourself in a vast literary collection.
More than 70,000 pre-loved books of outstanding quality, range and scope will be displayed in more than 50 categories – including Animals, Art, Architecture, Biography & Memoir, Children's & Young Adults, Cookery, Craft, Fiction, Gardening, History, Literature, Military, Music, Old Favourites, Psychology, Science, Sci Fi, Sport, Study Guides & Textbooks, Transport and Travel.
In addition to books, you can explore a breathtaking variety of vinyl records and jigsaw puzzles—all at unbeatable prices. Our extensive selection offers something for everyone, making this event a must-visit for families and collectors alike.
A special highlight this year is our collection of 42 rare books, including:
1. Elsie J. Oxenham Collection - A rare set of four first editions with dust jackets.
2. VARIETY Film Reviews 1907-1980 - A complete sixteen-volume set.
3. Lives of The Lord Chancellors and Keepers of the Great Seal of England - A ten-volume set.
4. Poems by Rosemary Dobson - A limited edition of 200 copies.
These special books are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Many date back to the early 1900s and have been thoroughly researched to ensure their authenticity. Book lovers will need to act quickly to secure these limited editions.
This community event is a fantastic opportunity to support Lifeline and make a difference. Every book you purchase will go towards Lifeline H2HS’s support services, including the 24/7 telephone crisis line 13 11 14, community aid, counselling and psychological services, support groups and treatment programs, emergency relief, financial counselling, and much more.
