About this Event
The time of year is spring, in the early 2000's; in Columbia, SC. The story is based on young adults navigating life' ups and downs. Rachel is a standout high school basketball player preparing to go into the world. She is faced with internal and family secrets that hurt her very being. Rachel is trying to define who she is in the mist of the obstacles in her life. She is juggling a home of mental, emotional and physical abuse. She has an older boyfriend and a best friend with whom they share a love that crosses the boundaries of what is seemingly normal in the south. Rachel faces battles not only in her home but also her mental state of mind. She is challenged in more ways then one as she has “Defining Measures” all around her. One mistake and she could lose herself.
