About this Event
Greetings from EL Shama Cares Foundation. We are currently preparing a major multi-day theatrical event in Edmonton for Easter Weekend 2026 and would like to extend an invitation to participate in a truly meaningful and high-profile production:
“THE REFLECTION — The Passion on the Cross”
This dramatic and musical event will be presented with orchestral backing , community performers, and guest artists. It will feature a blend of theatre, movement, music, and cultural representation, bringing together actors, singers, musicians, and creatives from across Alberta.
We are currently seeking volunteer performers and production team members, including:
Performance Roles:
- Lead and supporting actors of all ages
- Featured and ensemble singers
- Dancers / movement artists
- Musicians / instrumentalists
Production & Technical Roles:
- Stage crew
- Lighting & sound technicians
- Costume and wardrobe support
- Hair & makeup team
- Assistant stage managers
- Production assistants & runners
- Set movement & prop support
This production provides:
- real-world theatre experience
- professional-level performance environment
- collaboration with experienced directors and symphonic musicians
- performance credit / reference letters
- community engagement opportunity
- exposure to industry networks
