Featuring 6 new storytellers from all walks of life from Chattanooga Soddy-Daisy & Ooltewah! Each storyteller is a community member mentored by Cast Iron Storytelling to share true stories about a time they faced a real-life fear. Ghost stories are thrilling. But they don't hold a candle to what life throws at us.
Cast Iron Storytelling is reigniting an iconic Americana tradition in a contemporary way... and excited to be the home of storytelling & modern folklore in southeast Tennessee!
This event was made possible by Arts Build as a recipient of the Community Cultural Connections grant award. Join us for real stories by real people in what audiences describe as a "powerful" and "deeply engaging" experience!
This event is recommended for ages 12 and up and welcomes audiences to engage with the stories and storytellers. We create an environment that's like sitting on your porch or gathering around the supper table to swap memories with friends & family.
The venue is wheelchair accessible. Beverages will be available for purchase. Audience members will have an opportunity to put their name in the hat to be selected to come up on stage and share a 4-minute true story about a time they faced a fear too!
