Newport’s Urban Mari Lwyd, “Cassie”is visiting Newport on Saturday 10th January 2026.
Her procession will start at the WH Davies statue on Commercial Street at 2pm and proceed to the top end of High Street for 3pm.
She will be accompanied by the Widders Border Morris dancers who will dance on the streets of Newport and her many followers.
It is a free event and all are welcome to attend. Dressing up is encouraged! We
