About this Event
Casper Brass and Storm Door Co. is a group of Casper brass musicians plus percussion. Every 2 years since 1998, this group has performed an exciting concert filled with an excellent variety of music. This year’s version promises to do the same once again. You will be sure to find something to enjoy, as they present timeless classics from Baroque to contemporary and many things in between. This concert will include pieces by Bach, Puccini, Sousa, Rachmaninoff, and more.
Their director, Jeremy Huck (also performing with Chris Ehrlich on September 22; see page 37), teaches music in Casper, and has been doing so for 27 years. He also performs in several groups including the Casper Municipal Band, Deer Creek Brass Quintet, and is co-director of the Casper Community Band. In the past, he has conducted the Miles Community Orchestra in Montana, and has performed as a substitute trumpet player in the Wyoming Symphony. Jeremy is excited and delighted to join together a fantastic group of performers to present to you a concert filled with beautiful brass music that is all at once exciting, awe-inspiring, joyful, and at times, humorous. Don’t miss this year’s presentation of Casper Brass and Storm Door Co.!
