CASILIAN, formed by Franco-Norwegian brothers Mikael and Lucas Roussel, released two concept EPs at the beginning of 2025, including “Notre Monde”, marking the band’s first project in French.
Their sound lives somewhere between folk and electronics — music that feels like home, like a celebration, and like questioning everything at once. Through what they call Existential-Folktronica, CASILIAN brings together opposites: the organic and the mechanical, the past and the future, light and darkness.
Now they’re heading out on their first tour in a while, returning to where it all began: unplugged, close, and very human. Just two slightly existential Frenchmen, a couple of guitars, and a living room full of people willing to listen.
