Join us for a captivating evening of romance and adventure as we explore Romeo & Juliet works from composers Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, Berlioz, and more! Performed by live orchestra alongside actors from OzAct in an intimate studio venue.
Featuring Romeo and Juliet inspired pieces such as Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet: Fantasy Overture, and Berlioz’s Romeo and Juliet: Love Scene.
An exciting and varied program, the concert will also present stimulating highlights from Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet and from Bernstein’s West Side Story, a thrilling modern Romeo and Juliet tale.
Featured actors from OzAct will be performing sonnets and select Romeo and Juliet scenes alongside the orchestra for a fully immersive Shakespeare experience.
