Based in Central Arkansas, Casey Penn is no stranger to Mountain View! A talented bluegrass artist and award-winning songwriter, she has released three singles and a debut album (One Step Away, February 2023, Mountain Fever Records). Her third single, "We Go Together Like a Guitar and a Fiddle," spent seven months on the Bluegrass Unlimited Top 30 (peaking at #14), while the album itself reached the Top 15 Album Chart. Her second single, "Little Lives" (by Carl Jackson and Lucinda Crosby), was released in September 2022, and her first single, "Chasing Rainbows," landed on Bluegrass Today’s Top 20.The Casey Penn Band features Casey (vocals, rhythm guitar, fiddle), Rodger King (vocals, dobro, guitar), Joshua West (banjo, vocals), Andy Novara (mandolin, vocals), Ryan Petz (lead guitar), and Will Penn (upright bass). Still new to the bluegrass festival circuit, the group has appeared in standout venues and events including The Station Inn, Saint Louis Art Fair, Tall Grass Festival, Lorraine’s Coffee House, and more.
