Gratitude Brewing is hosting a fundraising event to benefit Cascadia Wildlands. $1 from every pint sold will go to this amazing Non Profit that defends and restores Cascadia’s wild ecosystems in the forests, in the courts, and in the streets. Doaks Creek Native Plant Nursery will be holding a plant sale in the brewery as well.Cascadia Wildlands is based in the heart of the Cascadia bioregion, which stretches from northern California to south-central Alaska. Cascadia Wildlands partners with organizations across the bioregion on pressing conservation priorities, but primarily focuses its efforts in western Oregon.
They envision vast old-growth forests, rivers full of wild salmon, wolves howling in the backcountry, a stable climate, and vibrant communities sustained by the unique landscapes of the Cascadia bioregion.
Cascadia Wildlands was born out of the forest defense movement of the 1990s, where passionate students, community members, business owners, scientists, and forest advocates in Eugene, Oregon, took direct action against rampant clearcutting on federal public lands in western Oregon.
