Join us at Cascade's exhibition launch to explore the projects journey and the negotiated plan reimagining Ballina’s laneways.Cascade explores this relationship and its potential to reimagine the town's historic laneways as climate-resilient, social spaces. Join us for the launch of the Cascade exhibition as part of the Ballina Fringe Festival 2025, where we will share the project’s two-year journey with residents to reimagine Ballina’s laneways.
At the exhibition, we will also unveil a negotiated design for Ballina’s laneways, a vision that:
Celebrates water and the unique qualities and histories of place
Strengthens connection across the town
Embraces radical inclusivity in the design of public space
This plan brings together the stories and ideas shared through our storymapping and co-design workshops, alongside the demonstrator project tested in O’Hora’s Lane.
Meet our team who will guide you through the project, share insights from the process and discuss how Cascade can inspire new approaches to shaping Ireland’s historic town centres.
