We are looking for art work!ALL AGES WELCOME!
Citizens Against Spouse Abuse (CASA) is hosting our 4th annual art exhibit & contest. This event will be held at the Home & Garden Show at the Mathewson Exhibition Center on March 29th from 9am to 4pm. Since April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we are inviting art students & community members to enter a hand drawing, sculpture, or painting of their artwork THEME:
“LIFE IS ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN”, FEATURING ALL TYPES OF ART EMBRACING STRENGTH, SUCCESS, COURAGE, DREAMS, CONFIDENCE, NEW STARTS. Last year, we had some amazing artwork submitted by students and community members with over 1,900 viewers for the event.
We are inviting the public to the art exhibit to select their favorite piece… $1 per vote for People’s Choice. The winning piece will be awarded the CASA People’s Choice plaque and a $50 gift card.
Plus, this year Artistic Isle Art Supplies is sponsoring by providing art supplies for the 1st place prize for each age group. Age Groups are 12 & under, AGES 13-24, and AGES 25 & up.

Rules:
Must be your own creation,
Painting or Drawing: (Pen, Ink, Pencil, Acrylic, Goache, Watercolor, Oil, Mixed Media). Submit Framed or stretched canvas.
Ceramic or sculpture pieces
Photography
Themed related preferred
Artwork is due March 29th and can be dropped off at Artistic Isle (120 East 6th St) MTW from 1-4, or at the Mathewson on March 28th from 11a-2p, or at the Mathewson on March 29th from 8:30a-9a. Arrangements can also be made to pick submission up from the school a couple days prior to the event. All artwork can be picked up after the event on March 29th at 3:45p or at Artistic Isle.
