About this Event

On Thursday January 18th, we're continuing our commitment to environmental action by maintaining trees and planting pollinator-friendly plants at the Cary Tree Archive. Join us for a hands-on day of caring for our local ecosystem and discussing climate action. It's an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and contribute to the preservation of our natural heritage!

Activities can and will include mulching, planting, weeding, and more. Gloves and tools will be provided, as well as water, but please bring a refillable container to keep this event low waste! We will have a water cooler to fill from.

Parking access for the Cary Tree Archive is in the lower lot of the Taylor Family YMCA, all the way to the left on your way in. A volunteer will be in the lot to direct first-time visitors to the path to the archive from 2:30-3:00pm, and you can call our Executive Director Dave at Klemp at 919-818-1100 if you have any difficulties.
