About this Event

Class Description: Join us for an engaging and hands-on Plaster Carving Art Class at our studio! This class is perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike who are interested in exploring the art of plaster carving. Under the guidance of our skilled instructor, you'll learn various techniques and unleash your creativity to produce beautiful plaster artworks.

What You'll Learn:

  • Basics of plaster preparation and handling
  • Techniques for carving and sculpting plaster
  • Methods for adding fine details and textures
  • Finishing and preserving your plaster creations

Projects: During the class, you'll create two sample pieces to practice your skills. By the end of the course, you'll have the opportunity to design and carve your own bowl or flower pot, adding a unique and personal touch to your creation.

Materials Provided:

  • Plaster mix
  • Carving tools
  • Protective gear (aprons, gloves, etc.)
  • Sandpaper and finishing supplies
  • Molds and forms for bowl or flower pot projects
