You are invited to see the riveting and extremely work of Jaylin Whitfield-Wiggins and Reggie Singleton. Both artist are pioneering their own lane of art from their perspective of the world. Jaylin uses yarn passed down to him from his grandmother to create colorful, and rich historical pieces which blend his own Black American identity with unique woodworkings. Reggie carves wood any many shapes and forms to represent his understanding of the African diaspora and his world view. These pieces both reflect a deeply personal and unique outlook from two of Detroit’s finest artists! Please join us this coming Saturday, February 22 at 5pm at Chloe Monroe Galleries, located next door to Café Noir.
