About this Event
Carving soft layers of linoleum to make something beautiful over and over again is a wonderful concept—and relaxing!
Learn about the basics of designing and carving your own rubber stamp using lino blocks and become familiar with the tools and techniques used in the process.
Each participant will get a few beginner-friendly lino blocks to carve, a wooden handle, and various colors to enhance their rubber stamp designs. After completing the workshop, you will know how to create your own lino block prints at home.
Lino Block Stamps can be colored with stamp ink pads, printing inks, oil paint, Golden OPEN acrylics—even fabric paint depending on the project—to create patterns and designs on your artwork, greeting cards, and linens. When created on a larger scale, lino blocks can be used to create wall art.
There are so many wonderful ways to apply this simple form of printmaking. Great for artists of all skill levels!
